In New Jersey, the chemical sector reigns as the largest manufacturing industry, boasting a robust $15.48 billion valuation and securing its position as the 8th largest chemistry producer nationwide.
Employing a workforce of 48,000 individuals, including professionals in pharmaceuticals and medicine manufacturing, the chemistry companies in the state provide a robust job market. Chemical manufacturers alone contribute 19,000 direct jobs, complemented by an additional 24,471 related employment opportunities.
